Matching the floor to the room
There is no single best floor, only the right one for each space. As a general rule of thumb used across the trade:
Bedrooms and lounges
Carpet for comfort and quiet, with a good underlay doing a lot of the work.
Stairs and landings
A hard wearing carpet with a dense, low pile that will not crush on the nosings.
Kitchens and bathrooms
Sheet vinyl or LVT, which are water resistant and easy to wipe clean.
Offices and rentals
Carpet tiles, where a single stained or worn tile can be swapped out.

The point where carpet meets vinyl or LVT is where cheap jobs show. Because we sell both, the right trim or door bar can be picked at the same time, matched to the height of each floor. It is a small thing that makes the finished house look planned rather than patched.

We buy direct and hold stock on the racking, so what you see is what goes on the van. Discontinued lines, remnants and roll ends sit alongside full rolls, which is often where the best value for a small room or a rental is found. - Sheet vinyl in 2m, 3m and 4m widths, LVT in plank and tile formats, carpet tiles and rugs, plus underlay, gripper, trims and adhesives.
- Can I buy carpet for one room and vinyl for another in one go?
- Yes. Both warehouses carry carpet and hard flooring, so a whole house can be chosen, priced and delivered on one order.
- Do I need an appointment?
- No. Walk in Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm or Saturday 9am to 4pm. Both sites are closed on Sunday and both have free parking.
- Is this a showroom with samples?
- It is a warehouse. Thousands of rolls are on the racking and are cut while you wait, rather than ordered in from a sample book.
- Can you fit the flooring as well?
- We offer supply only or fitting through trusted, fully vetted local fitters, with onsite measuring in most Kent areas.
