We are neither. We buy clearance stock direct from suppliers, rack it in two warehouses, and sell it at warehouse-only prices to the public and the trade alike. Geographically the county splits neatly for us. Maidstone on Wyke Manor Road covers mid Kent and the weald, out towards Ashford, Canterbury and the Malling villages. What differs by area is not the price, it is the job. West Kent period homes buy wool blends and stair runners. Medway and Sittingbourne buy hard wearing twists and roll ends by the property for rentals. Coastal Sheppey and the marsh villages think about moisture and vinyl. They hold the same stock at the same prices, so the only question is the drive. Mid and west Kent tends to use Maidstone; Medway, the peninsula and Sheppey tend to use Gillingham. Sittingbourne sits almost exactly between the two, which is why that page is written around the choice.
