A rug is the one flooring purchase nobody should buy from a thumbnail. The colour on a screen is rarely the colour in your lounge, and the thickness that looks generous in a photograph can feel thin underfoot. That is why we keep rugs on the floor at both of our warehouses, next to the carpet and hard flooring they will sit with at home.
We are a warehouse, not a design studio. We buy stock direct and sell it at warehouse-only prices to the public and to the trade, and the rugs are treated the same way as everything else we sell: on show, priced plainly, and backed by our promise to beat any legitimate quote.

Why buying a rug with the floor makes sense
Most people shopping for a rug are also changing the floor, or have just changed it. Choosing the two together, in one building, is the easiest way to get the contrast right. Lay a rug next to a length of grey twist or a plank of oak effect LVT and you know in seconds whether it works. Try doing that with a sample swatch and a website and you are guessing.
Hard floors
A rug on LVT or vinyl brings back warmth and quiet in a living room or bedroom without giving up the easy cleaning of a hard floor.
Over carpet
A rug over carpet protects the patch in front of a sofa or at the foot of a bed, the places a carpet wears first.
Rentals and quick refreshes
Landlords and anyone short of time use a rug to lift a tired room between full refits.
Choosing the right size, before you come in
Measure the space the rug has to fill, not the room. In a lounge, decide whether the front legs of the sofa and chairs will sit on the rug or behind it, and measure to match. Under a bed, allow enough to step onto on both sides. In a hallway, leave a clear margin of floor showing at each side. Bring those numbers with you, or send them over, and the team will show you what is in stock that fits.
What the warehouse gives you that a website cannot
Seeing the pile height, the backing and the colour in daylight from the loading doors is the whole point of coming in. Free parking is on site at both warehouses, there is no appointment to book, and the same visit can cover the carpet, the underlay and the trims as well as the rug.
Trade and bulk buying
Letting agents, landlords, developers and installers buying for several properties can open a trade account for discounts and bulk-buy pricing, which applies across the range rather than to carpet alone.

Buying a rug from us
- Do you actually stock rugs?
- Yes. Alongside carpet and vinyl we carry LVT, rugs, underlay, trims, adhesives and accessories, so a rug can be bought on the same visit as the floor beneath it.
- Can I see a rug before I buy it?
- Yes. Both warehouses are open to the public with no appointment, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm, closed Sunday.
- Is the rug range the same at both warehouses?
- Stock moves between and through both sites and changes regularly, so call the warehouse you plan to visit if you are after something specific.
- Do you price match on rugs?
- Bring a written quote and we will beat any legitimate quote, the same promise that applies across the warehouse.
- Can a rug be delivered?
- Most in-stock items are delivered within 1 to 3 working days across Kent, and collection is available from both warehouses.
