Price and value
How our pricing works, and why it is lower
We do not publish a price per square metre, because the honest number depends on your rooms. Here is exactly how we get to it.
Every flooring price is made of the same parts: the carpet, the underlay, the gripper and trims, the fitting and the delivery. A showroom adds two more parts that you never see itemised, which are the cost of running the showroom and the cost of ordering your carpet in from a supplier after you have chosen it from a book.
We removed those two. The stock is bought as clearance deals direct from suppliers and held in our own racking, so you are paying for carpet and the work of cutting it. That is the whole trick, and it is why the same specification usually costs less here.

What makes up the number you are quoted
When we price a job, these are the lines. Ask for any of them to be split out and the team will do it, because a quote you cannot interrogate is not much use when you are comparing.
The carpet or vinyl itself
Priced by what the roll actually is. Roll ends and clearance lines land lower than current stock of the same weight.
Underlay and accessories
Underlay, gripper, trims and adhesives are stocked here too, so it is one supplier rather than three.
Fitting, if you want it
Optional. We work with trusted, fully vetted local fitters across Kent, and you may use your own fitter instead.
Delivery or collection
Collect from either warehouse, or most in-stock items delivered within 1 to 3 working days with a date given.
How to make a quote comparison fair
Retailers quote in different ways, so before comparing, check three things: whether underlay is included, whether the price covers fitting and taking the old carpet away, and whether the carpet quoted is the weight you actually looked at. Send us the quote in full and we will line ours up against it and beat it.
Why we ask for room sizes rather than giving an estimate
Carpet is sold in fixed widths, usually four metres. A room that is 4.1 metres wide can cost far more per usable square metre than one that is 3.9 metres, because of what has to be wasted. An estimate that ignores that is guesswork. Give us the measurements and you get a real number instead.

How warehouse pricing works, your questions answered
- Why do you not list prices per square metre?
- Because stock changes weekly and the honest price depends on your room widths and what is on the floor that day. Send your sizes and you get a real quote rather than an estimate.
- Why is a warehouse cheaper than a showroom?
- A showroom orders your flooring in from a sample book. We buy clearance deals direct from suppliers and hold the rolls ourselves, so the same specification usually costs less.
- What counts as a legitimate quote for the price promise?
- A written quote from a real supplier for comparable flooring. Bring it in or send it with your room sizes and we will beat it.
- Is there a charge for quoting or measuring?
- Quotes are free and no obligation, and onsite measuring is available in most Kent areas. You can also bring your own measurements and the team will calculate quantities.
- How can I pay?
- Cash, all major credit and debit cards, Amex and bank transfer.
