Carpets and vinyl in Sevenoaks
Sevenoaks carpet buying, direct from the warehouse.
Served by our Maidstone warehouse, about 19 miles away, roughly 30 minutes.
What Sevenoaks and Riverhead homes need
Larger detached houses around Sevenoaks and Dunton Green often have rooms wide enough to need a 4m or 5m sheet vinyl width, or careful planning of a carpet roll to avoid an unnecessary join across a bay window. Commuter family homes towards Otford and Riverhead tend to want a mid to heavy weight twist on the stairs and landing, since that is where family traffic concentrates, while a softer pile in bedrooms is more about comfort than durability. Period and Edwardian property closer to the town centre can have less regular room shapes, so measuring the true widest point rather than an average matters more than usual.
Who we see from TN13 to TN15
The majority of Sevenoaks customers are homeowners planning ahead rather than reacting to an emergency, often comparing a showroom quote against warehouse pricing before deciding. We also see local builders and fitters working on Sevenoaks renovations who collect carpet, underlay and adhesive here on their way to site, since we sell to trade as well as the public.

Distance
about 19 miles
roughly 30 minutes
Sevenoaks is far enough from Wyke Manor Road that we do not pretend it is a five minute pop over, but the half hour run down the A25 and A20 is one that plenty of Sevenoaks households already know from shopping or commuting trips into Maidstone.
The town itself, along with Riverhead, Dunton Green, Otford and the villages towards Sevenoaks Weald, holds some of the larger detached and commuter housing stock in this part of Kent. Rooms tend to be generous, hallways are often wide enough for a run of stair carpet to matter visually as well as practically, and buyers here are frequently thinking about a whole first floor or a full ground floor rather than patching one room.
Because the trip is longer, most Sevenoaks customers ring ahead to check what is on the floor before setting off, and we would encourage that rather than turning up on the off chance for a very small quantity.
Sevenoaks questions we are asked
- Is it worth driving from Sevenoaks for one room?
- Ring first on 01622 828445 and tell us the room. For a small job it may make more sense to arrange delivery than to make the drive, and we will say so honestly.
- Can you match a carpet across a large landing without a visible join?
- In most cases, yes, provided the roll width suits the space. Onsite measuring helps us confirm this before you buy rather than after.
- Do you deliver to TN13 and TN14 if I cannot collect?
- Yes, most in-stock items are delivered within one to three working days and we will confirm a delivery date when you place the order.
- Will you beat a quote from a Sevenoaks showroom?
- Bring the quote in and we will do our best to beat it on a like for like specification.
- Is clearance carpet lower quality?
- No. A roll end is the tail of an ordinary roll, sold cheaper only because the remaining length limits what it can cover.
Getting to Wyke Manor Road from Sevenoaks
From Sevenoaks town centre the simplest route is the A25 out towards Borough Green, joining the A20 near Wrotham and continuing on to the M20 at junction 4, then following the A20 into Maidstone and onto Wyke Manor Road. It is around 19 miles and roughly 30 minutes, longer than most of our local towns, which is why Sevenoaks buyers tend to plan the visit around two or three rooms rather than making the trip for a single offcut. There is free parking directly outside the unit, and the loading bay is wide enough to bring a large estate car or a van right up to the door, so a full length rolled and folded into the back is straightforward. If a full roll will not sit in your car, we can arrange delivery instead and give you a date when you order, or you can send someone to collect on your behalf.
