Plank and tile luxury vinyl for people who want the look of wood or stone and the practicality of neither.
LVT is a rigid or flexible tile or plank rather than a sheet, and that changes what it can do. Individual pieces mean patterns are possible, herringbone included, and a damaged plank can be lifted and swapped rather than the whole floor coming up.
It is harder wearing than sheet vinyl and quieter and warmer than tile, which is why it has taken over kitchens, hallways and open plan ground floors in Kent over the last decade.

The subfloor is most of the job
LVT is thin, so it takes on the shape of whatever it is laid over. A screed needs to be dry and level and a timber floor almost always needs overboarding first. Skipping that is the reason unhappy LVT floors exist, and it costs far more to redo than to do.
Buying LVT from a warehouse
Because we buy clearance deals direct from suppliers, LVT lines come through at prices closer to sheet vinyl than to a showroom quote. Quantities are one-off, so if you find a range you like, buy the whole floor plus a working allowance in one go.

- What is the difference between LVT and sheet vinyl?
- Sheet vinyl is one continuous piece, cheaper and completely joint free. LVT is individual planks or tiles, harder wearing, able to be laid in patterns like herringbone, and repairable plank by plank.
- Is LVT waterproof?
- The material itself does not absorb water, which is why it works in kitchens and cloakrooms. Because it is laid in pieces, the subfloor preparation matters more than with sheet vinyl.
- Can LVT go over underfloor heating?
- Many LVT products are compatible, but it depends on the specific range. Tell the team what heating you have and they will check the product before you buy.
- Do I need to prepare the floor before LVT?
- Yes. A timber floor usually needs overboarding and a screed needs to be dry and level, because LVT is thin enough to show whatever is underneath it.
