Why tiles beat broadloom at work
In an office, damage is local. A chair castor wears one patch, a coffee ruins one square metre, a cable run needs access in one corner. With broadloom carpet each of those means living with it or redoing the room. With tiles you lift the affected tile and drop in a spare.
Tiles also handle awkward commercial layouts, pillars and partition walls with far less waste than a roll.

Buy a box of spares at the time of the job and store them. Commercial clearance stock does not repeat, so a spare box today is what makes the tile by tile repair possible in three years.
Decide the lay pattern before you start. Quarter turned tiles hide traffic patterns better than laying every tile the same way.
